La Ballarati si è anche interessata della organizzazione di mostre e presentazioni di libri.

Ha un carattere solare, che si esprime anche nella pittura . I colori che preferisce di più sono il verde, il blu ed il fuxia. Interessata a molti campi della vita preferisce dipingere durante le ore notturne quando la Città è quieta. Fin da giovane ha avuto la passione di disegnare gli abiti che poi indossava segliendo anche le stoffe. Il soggetto preferito che tratta nei quadri è la natura , in particolare gli alberi che realizza nei modi più diversi con tecniche anche innovative.

Ha un carattere determinato, ha una figlia che studia all'universita' e scrive su diversi giornali.

La loro amicizia rimane negli anni. Anselmetti grande trascinatore di amici. Era solito visitare le inaugurazioni alla ricerca di nuovi artisti. Insieme a lui e alla Volpini la Ballarati intensifica la frequentazione delle Gallerie.

Aveva abbandonato l'idea di esporre e non faceva vedere a nessuno i suoi lavori.

Una sera nello studio della Ballarati il suo amico Anselmetti, vide per caso le sue opere. Era entusiasta a tal punto che fu Lui a convincerla ad esporre. Anzi convince i Galleristi a farla esporre. Inoltre il critico scrive molte cose su di lei.

Da quel momento inizia la nuova avventura della Ballarati.
